At Last

I finally time to post!

The last couple of months have been rough. Work has been stressful and I've about decided that I no longer want a real job! At least not a long term job at SWCP. But now that things have settled down a bit and I'm coordinating for someone new, work life is a bit less hectic.

I had a great birthday! Thanks so much to everyone who called or wrote me:) Joey blew up tons of balloons and filled the apartment with them. For dinner we went to Cheesecake Factory and ate lots of good food. Over the weekend we went to a HUGE flea market in downtown Phoenix. Neat experience, but I probably wouldn't go again. And Saturday Karen and the boys threw me a birthday party with chocolate fondue! Yum!

The weekend before, Joey and I went to Yuma and hung out with Leslie, Tyler, Reed, and Chloe. We had the BEST time! They are such adorable kids. I meant to take pictures, but I'm just kept forgetting the camera. They bought a miniature wiener dog and haven't told Chris yet! That makes me laugh!! By the way, Chris was promoted to Warrant Officer (he's an officer now, yeah!) and he's coming home from Iraq November 13th! Crazy, huh?

I am looking forward to the holidays. I can't wait to be home. Part of me loves Arizona and the other part really misses my friends and my family and wants to go home. At least those two are balanced now! Sorry for no new pictures, but I thought that at least a non pictured update was better than nothing!

Uncle Jim and Aunt Ann, give Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Cathy big hugs and lots of love while they are visiting this week!

Next update I promise to have pix:)
