Sedona

Wow! What a beautiful place. As you're driving through the mountains, Sedona comes out of nowhere. All of a sudden you are looking at these beautiful red peaks. I was amazed.

A few of the girls from work and I were offered two complimentary Jeep tours and decided to take them up on their offer. Krista, Kristina, Danna, and I hit the road early Saturday morning to put in some overtime! We had plenty of snacks, coffee, and our handy Mapquest map.
Jeep tour #1 was Pink Jeep. It was great! We went on the most beautiful senic route through the mountains. And we had great conversation...these girls are really fun!
After Jeep tour #1, we walked through Tlaquepaque, which is this really quaint artsy shopping center. Lunch was delicious. Probably the best club sandwich I've ever had (yummm....)!
Then off to Jeep tour #2, where our guide was missing more teeth than he had in his head. Very interesting character!

A tour of the resort, L'Auberge followed. It was a great time, and I really loved the red mountains. Since Sedona is only two hours away, I hope to visit it again in the near future. So much left to explore!!
