New Beginnings

So, I've decided to make this blog about my life's big adventure....leaving home, family and friends to "head out west" with Joey. I started out very confident. I had a good job, my trusty Jeep, and a handy dandy little piece of paper I was handed in front of thousands of people. A diploma! Yeah!
Unfortunately my sweet little dreams of beginning my life in a brand new place and jump starting adulthood came to a screeching halt. Broke. Living with Joey's mom. Joey is in Iowa playing independant baseball. Basically HELL on earth.
So to remedy the situation I took on another job.
"Well," you might say, "at least you have your degree! Getting a second job should be cake!"
And it was. Thank God for that degree. Whew. I'm not sure if I could do what I'm doing now without the knowledge I so carefully stored away in those Comm classes.
*Please note the blatant sarcasm*
Actually as a cashier at Target, I have time to ponder open vs. closed systems, wonder about topics we discussed in Applied Org Com like Chimp Haven and A Fish Stinks from the Head. Dr. Martin would be proud.
Today I accepted my third job as a tutor. Yes, yours truly is going to tutor high school students who have big dreams of conquering the world. I will encourage them to study, so that they can go to college and get a job one day. And then get a second one. And then a third.
Thanks for the warm welcome, Real World.

Jessica - cheer up, it only gets more dramatic and insane as you age...so, welcome to the real world. i blame the republicans. And, the democraps, and, the indepandents, and Noah, and your mother, and ..well, the list is very long.

Three jobs is a bit of a stretch. Why not forsake the 4 trillion degree heat of the dead, I mean the desert southwest, and try Miami?

Love!

PS - the one I deleted is more tough love, and I thought you needed a more personal posting...

If you do start working at Hooters, I'd like a call. Matt wouldn't miss it for the world, McGee.
