Oak Creek in Sedona

What a fantastic Sunday!!
Joey and I took off to Sedona to do some hiking...he had never been, and I had never hiked there. The park service recommended a trail that would take us all around Oak Creek....BEAUTIFUL!! The water is cold and so clear, lots of rocks and tall, green trees...very un-Arizona:) The vortexes that surround the area are supposed to calm and center you. I found the hike very cleansing and calming, so I guess there is something to the claims! It's absoultely majestic...you feel so small compared to this great big, beautiful earth.

Lake Tahoe

We came, we saw, I conquered yet another Tahoe Mountain!

Heavenly-Check!
Sierra-Check!

It was a great time! Wonderful 70 degree weather...We drove for a day, skiied a day, watched Ryan (Joey's middle brother) compete in the Bordercross competition, and then drove home. Yay for Ryan! He came in first overall for his age group and will compete in Nationals.

What a gorgeous drive...made stops along the way to take pics. I love it:)
